Mambo Beach & surroundings

An easy day from here: slow breakfast, an early swim while the beach is quiet, lunch on the boulevard and late afternoon in Willemstad for the Handelskade and dinner.

  • Mambo Beach is easy for restaurants, beach clubs and shops on foot, which is useful when not everyone wants to depend on a car all day.
  • Combine a beach day with the Curaçao Sea Aquarium, or head into Willemstad later in the day for Punda, Otrobanda and the Queen Emma Bridge.
  • This side of the island is convenient for snorkeling and diving, while a rental car is best for exploring the western beaches.
